What this is all about….

There are many stages in life – child to adult, young and healthy to aging and challenged, or student to teacher.  There are seasons in life as well.  The season of a busy, yet carefree single person finding their way in the world, first time away from home, to the season of a busy and harried young parent, all their time swallowed by caring for the needs of others, just to name two seasons.  But the thing about stages and seasons is that they change and evolve and if we allow them, they can help us to grow and become more than we were before, to explore avenues we had no idea we might even take.  This season in my life is about several things but the most surprising is the desire and drive to write.  And that’s what this blog is about – exploring what it means to write and hopefully, in the process, soaring to new heights of creativity and experience.  Come along with me if you’d like – follow my blog and together who knows what we just might discover?

  1. I’m impress by how large your family is! Wanting to thank you for the follow. Please be aware that my blog is a bilingual one.
So you may get links to some poems in English as well as to some in Italian… Photography on the other hand has no language barriers! I’m trying to keep the posting balanced between the two languages.
    Keep up the good work.
    Anna

    • While I don’t speak Italian I do enjoy seeing other languages and imagining how the words of creativity cross all boundaries. 🙂

    • Thanks, Tammy. It’s good to get inspiration and encouragement from the fact that other people are writing and reading.

    • Thank you, Michaela. I’m not always sure if it’s brave or boring, but I do know the best thing is to keep writing and perfecting the craft, giving voice to what’s going on inside.

  2. I have nominated your blog for the Liebster award. I love your writing! I look forward to reading more of your posts! Follow this link for instructions on the award…http://angelaschua.wordpress.com/2014/05/13/the-liebster-award-nomination-congratulations-and-thank-you-all/
